The Challenge
Sylwia Romaniuk, Poland’s most iconic haute couture designer, came to us with a bold vision: to evolve her eponymous label into a full-scale luxury lifestyle brand, SYLVIA. This expansion would seamlessly integrate her existing couture house with a small-batch ready-to-wear collection, a luxury café in downtown Warsaw, and a high-end crystal retail line. Inspired by fashion powerhouses like Gucci and Ralph Lauren, Sylwia wanted the new brand to embody her signature elegance while creating a multi-sensory experience for clients.
However, trademark limitations meant the core logo could not be altered, so our challenge was to craft a cohesive brand strategy that would unify these diverse offerings under a single, luxurious identity.
The Solution
Through our strategic process, we distilled SYLVIA’s essence into three key pillars: Sanctuary, Spirituality, and Self-Expression. This led to the creation of the brand’s new tagline: Elevate Your Soul.
We also worked closely with Sylwia to refine the brand’s mission statement:
SYLVIA invites you to redefine spirituality in modern life. Through our multi-sensory brand experiences, we inspire the emergence, embrace, and elevation of the divine essence within you. Experience the extraordinary. Experience SYLVIA.
For the visual identity, we designed an aesthetic that would complement Sylwia’s ornate couture without overshadowing it—opting for soft pastel neutrals, subtle textures, and delicately hand-sketched botanical elements. This balance of understated luxury ensures that SYLVIA feels like an immersive sanctuary across all touchpoints.
With a new Shopify website in development, we are curating evocative imagery and storytelling to showcase the mineral- and plant-inspired cuisine, couture, and décor that define the brand. The result? Whether engaging with fashion, dining, or retail, every SYLVIA experience evokes elegance, serenity, and self-expression.
